Managing Your Subscription
NoteDex is available with two purchase methods - a one-time purchase, or a monthly or annual subscription. The NoteDex subscription is bought and managed differently for different devices, mainly because of App store rules.
To check your account and/or manage your subscription please see the below, depending on whether you are using Windows, Web, Apple or Android.
Windows and Web users.
For Windows and Web users we utilize the Stripe payment system to manage your subscription. When you go through the Purchase screens in NoteDex you will be utilizing the Stripe payment mechanism to complete your order. Once you have done this you will billed monthly or annually until you cancel your subscription.
If you are on Windows/Web and want to cancel your account and remove your data, click the link to your User Information in the top-right of the home page. This will bring up an INFORMATION screen.
Delete Your account
To delete your account entirely click the link in red that says 'Request Account Deletion'. The system will automatically cancel your subscription and your NoteDex license will be revoked. Your NoteDex data will also be deleted.
Cancel Subscription
If you want to just cancel your account but keep your data then click on the blue link for 'Customer Portal'. That will take you to the payment page like shown below where you can cancel your subscription. Your NoteDex license will be revoked and you won't be able to add any more cards, but your existing data will be kept for up to 1 year.
iOS/Mac or Android users
Because of Apple App Store and Google Play App Store rules, we must use their in-app purchasing mechanism for subscriptions.
When you purchase the subscription for iOS/Mac or Android you then manage the subscription via their mechanisms. We do not have control on this and are, unfortunately, only able to offer limited support.
Delete Account
You can still request 'Delete My Account' in the NoteDex user information panel and we will delete the data for your account, but it is still your responsibility to cancel you subscription using the Apple/Google App Store mechanisms.
Cancel Subscription
You can use the Apple/Google App store mechanism to cancel your subscription. You won't be able to add any more cards but your data will be kept for up to 1 year.
